Kayleigh has recently used performance in her work. Gaining inspiration from fashion and performance photographers. Role-play is another aspect of Kayleigh’s work, since becoming influenced by photographer Cindy Sherman. This use of performance can be seen in one of her most recent works, for which motion and movement played an important role. Colour is another element that is also very important in her work and has a natural eye for capturing and knowing what she is looking for in her images.
She would best describe her work as her way of expressing herself and her current tastes and interests with the use of photography, but to also use photography personally, and as a platform to voice an opinion.
